These generated pages are printable and you can export them to PDF from your browser. If you get generated pages for unused MIDI ports on your controller, you can disable these from the controller options. If you have more than one controller, a page is generated for each connected controller. The generated page is automatically opened in your default web-browser. Press the "View Functions" button in the setup dialog. Some examples:Īnother way to view the controller functions is to generate a web-page for your controller. You can also use an app on your tablet to turn it into an extra display. If you have a recent iPad and a Mac, you can use Sidecar to show the panel on the iPad. You can also use a tablet as an extra display. If the extra screen is small enough, you can put it next to your controller. For example, if you have a small video monitor, you can attach it to your computer and show the reference panel on it. If you have an extra display, you can use it to show the reference panel. If there is more content than fits in the panel, you can scroll the panel vertically. When you make the panel narrow, you will automatically see abbreviations of the functions. For example when you change the layer, or assign a new function to a control. When you change the functions, the panel updates automatically. Below that are tables showing the controller functions. The panel shows the last function send from the controller, including the value of the parameter. You should see the function appear in the panel. The panel starts working as soon as the PrControl control surface plug-in has been loaded. Open the PrControl Functions panel to view the functions of the controls. Once you restart Premiere Pro, PrControl can use MIDI again. The MIDI system used to connect to MIDI controllers cannot be restarted while Premiere Pro is running. On the Mac you must restart Premiere Pro after closing a project. If you close the project while PrControl is active, PrControl is shut down and needs to restart when you open another project. If you are using it on the go and not plugged into an outlet, Energy Efficient will suit you best. The last option will affect image quality. In cases where you are having trouble running the max quality 60 fps smoothly, 30 fps will give you more responsive performance by lightening the load on your CPU. It uses about half the resources and will help your battery last longer. However, if you're on the go and don't mind running at the same frame rate as a television, choose 30 FPS. This will require more CPU power but provide an incredibly smooth display. If you want the maximum quality experience go with 60 FPS. However, the display has four times the pixels and therefore increases the load on your GPU and CPU by 2-3x. If you either want more space or very sharp retina resolution, you should use retina or high resolution. It is perfect for most use cases and puts almost no stress on your computer (between 15-25% for active use). On Windows these settings are shown in the Duet PC app in your system tray. On Mac these settings are found in the Duet Mac app in your menu bar when you hover over your connected device. During active use, use the setting descriptions below to choose the best option for you.
